Sadly after a year we lost my mum, she was greatly missed. Then Peter's breathing became much worse and i had to retire for medical reasons, so we decided to move to the sseaside. we found a lovely bungalow in Mablethorpe and proceeded to change it to our liking. Unfortunately Peter was diagnosed with cancer. He heroically went through a course of radio therapy and chemo, but sadly it did not do the trick and because of his general health they were unable to operate.So we decided that we would enjoy the time that we had together,we had some lovely holidays made some good friends,and generally enjoyed ourselves. We had lost out last dog soon after we moved here and at the time decided not to have another. However with Peter in and out of hospital I got really down and the house was so quiet, so we decided to have another. We wanted a rescue dog and found a kennels that had some, there Zac chose us and was duely brought home.He settled in well and was agood comfort to us both. Peter loved to play with him and i have many photos of them having a tug of war. When Peter wasn't so well Zac would cuddle up beside him for hours.
